Helping to raise funds for valuable services to disabled sea anglers, the Moogy Moore Memorial Fishing Competition supports the M.V. Freedom, based in Weymouth – has been operating a unique service for the benefit and enjoyment of people who suffer with a disability and/or learning difficulties on fishing trips.

The charity has been in operation for over 20 years and is going from strength to strength, introducing over 2,500 people per annum into sea fishing.
Shimano has actively supported the Moody Moore Fishing Competition in 2007, with the donation of sea tackle and exclusive goody bags for those participating – helping organiser, Lisa Brown raise over £900 for the cause.
