Earth day by Shimano American Corporation (SAC)
At SAC employees enjoyed Earth Day on April 21st, a designated "Environmental Impact Reduction Event" for Shimano.
Employees planted flowers, a variety of plants, 4 small trees and helped clear large areas of weeds and overgrowth. We've also installed two beautiful park benches in the "rose garden".
These benches are special because they are made entirely of recycled bottles.
They are a beautiful addition to the front of SAC.
Many volunteered to lend a hand throughout the day and everyone enjoyed the mild weather, laughter with friends and co-workers, and the delicious Mexican luncheon served afterwards.
We are so pleased with the results and for years and years to come employees, visitors and guests will be able to enjoy the colorful plants, trees and inviting park benches."
