GRAND SLAM in Cyclo-cross World Championships for SHIMANO and PRO!
Last weekend the World Championships cyclo cross were held in Koksijde, Belgium. In all four categories the new Word Champions won their titles on SHIMANO and PRO equipped bikes, a true Grand Slam!

Niels Albert dominated the men’s race from start to finish. Albert blasted away in the opening lap and his competitors never saw him again until the award ceremony. SHIMANO assisted him with DURA-ACE Di2 group sets, C35 wheels, PRO stem, handlebar and saddle and SHIMANO eyewear and shoes.

At the women’s race, Marianne Vos took the lead at the start and never gave her leading position away. She out-powered the rest of the field using exact the same equipment as Albert, no coincidence as this is without doubt the best set up for cyclo cross!

On Saturday Dutchmen Mathieu van der Poel (Juniors) and Lars van der Haar (U23) both won their races on bikes with SHIMANO group sets and PRO handlebar/stem. Van der Haar was also racing Shimano wheels and both men wore Shimano M320 shoes.
