National Mountain Bike Series
May 17, Los Olivios CA
The National Mountain Bike Series is the longest running mountain bike race series in North America. Originating in the late 1980’s (as the NORBA National Championship Series) the Series has enjoyed tremendous popularity for the past 20 years – popularity based upon the foundation of providing athletes the highest quality race experience against the best competition in North America. Participants come from over 30 US states, Canada, Mexico and South America to test themselves in the national arena.

The 2008 National Mountain Bike Series includes venues that have seen some of the most memorable racing in the history of mountain biking – Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah – the “old” Cactus Cup venue in Arizona now called the NOVA National and the urban venue of Fontana, California – located just minutes from Los Angeles. 2008 serves up the debut of two fantastic new venues – one in New York and one in Idaho. Ski Windham located in Windham New York, just a short drive from New York City offers some of the best east coast terrain riders will see. Tamarack Idaho – the site of the Finals – promises to be spectacular. Located just two hours north of Boise and on the shores of one of the most beautiful lakes in Idaho – this Resort has quickly become a premier mountain bike destination.

Come test yourself against the best riders in North America – you will enjoy the challenge and remember the experience for years to come
