Automation Engineer (Programmer)

Job Responsibilities

·       Design electrical control systems for machinery and equipment

·       Prepare BOM and participate in procurement and supplier management

·       Perform electrical wiring and routing of control panels and machinery

·       Responsible for PLC and HMI programs for machinery and equipment

·       Ability to troubleshoot, debug and commission control systems of machinery and equipment

·       Manage and liaise with project team members and suppliers

·       Prepare and present project proposals/updates to internal business owners

·       Involved in E-factory project – sensing, set up Energy management system and network setup.

·       Responsible for value-added engineering projects and contributing ideas for improvement

Job Requirements

·       Minimum Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics Engineering

·       At least 2 years of relevant experience

·       PLC and HMI Programming (Mitsubishi, Omron, Allen Bradley)

·       Robot Programming (Yaskawa, ABB, Fanuc)

·       Electrical Circuit Drawing and Electrical Panel Design with AutoCAD

·       Knowledge of Labview Programming, C++, Communication Protoccols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, RS232, DeviceNet)

·       Knowledge of Electrical Power Systems and Instrumentation Control

·       Experience in Machine Vision (2D-3D-Bin Picking) with Robotics Integration will be added advantage
