IT Engineer (IIOT)

 

Job Responsibilities

·       Manage the implementation of Industrial IOT (IIOT) with key Stakeholders

·       Research and review potential technology integration for machines

·       Lead and manage project assigned

·       Liaise deliverables across the project team

·       Articulate the provisioning of IIOT from scratch to fruition

·       Schedule periodic progress updates

·       Chart and plot system design/Requirement according to specification related to Hardware

·       Improvise and standardize data communication across shop floor

·       Architecture the IIOT system platform from the IT perspective

 

Job Requirements

·       Minimum Diploma in Computer / Information Technology / Information Engineering or other related fields

·       Preferably with manufacturing IT Infrastructure background

·       Basic IT Infrastructure setup/configuration & trouble shooting knowledge

·       1-2 years’ experience in handling & trouble shooting of various types of Printers/Weighing machines / Scanners & its connectivity to Software systems

·       Knowledge on Barcodes / QR Codes & its Readers & basic knowledge on RFID Technology and its application

·       Basic to Intermediate Network skills

·       Good understanding of Programmable Logic controller, Industrial PC and sensor

·       Basic Knowledge of programming like C#, VB, .net etc. might be preferred

·       Good understanding of cloud technology, SQL and middleware services

·       Some experience in testing, installation or maintenance in MES software system or development will be advantageous

·       Project management skills

·       Good understanding of OPC UA Connectivity
