Tracy makes it a three-peat
Tracy fills in Shimano on her future in the sport
"2015 has been more successful than I could ever have imagined, to win 6 out of 7 EWS races and to come away with a 3rd successive World Title is just crazy! Enduro is such a testing discipline on your bike and body, so to have survived all the racing and not had any issues is testament to my great equipment and preparation for the races.
I love riding my bike and wherever I can pedal I always choose to rather than push so thats why I always chose a Shimano double chain ring set up, 2 x 11 26 - 36t. I ran full XTR mechanical shifting to stay with what I have been used to, XTR trail pedals and XTR cranks 170mm and as I said before not ever having one technical issue in 3 years is testament to the product."
After a twenty year career Tracy plans to take a step back from full flight international racing. She plans to move into other areas of the bike industry and hopes to giveback her experiences into the sport by helping young riders develop and grow as athletes and racers. You'll continue to see Tracy around the circuit, not only as an ambassador, but as a competitor in some races as well.
