A stage-by-stage look at the 76th edition of Paris-Nice and is the sixth event of the 2018 UCI World Tour. The 8 stage race covers 745 miles through France.
Stage 1: Chatou to Meduon
The French Champion Arnaud Demare (FDJ) takes the opening stage of the 2018 Paris-Nice in a photo finish.
Stage 2: Orsonville to Vierzon
Dylan Groenewegen (LottoNL-Jumbo) wins Stage 2 in a group sprint. Groenewegen is off to a strong start in 2018 with victories at the Tour of Dubai and Volta ao Algarve. Groenewegen has been wearing the newly released Shimano S-PHYRE R Eyewear this season, developed with the cyclists of LottoNL-Jumbo.
Stage 3: Bourges to Chatel-Guyon
The longest day of the 8-day stage race, Stage 3 was a hilly Stage that covered 130 miles through central France.
Arnaud Demare (FDJ) loses the yellow jersey for the General Classification but holds steady in the Points Classification wearing the green jersey.
Stage 4: La Fouillouse to Saint-Etienne
Stage 4 features the only Individual Time Trial Stage of the 2018 Paris-Nice. The 11-mile time trial began with a challenging 5 mile climb at a 3.5% grade.
Wout Poels (Team Sky) wins the Stage 4 Time Trial with a blazing effort, 11 seconds quicker than place. Poels moves into second in the General Classification with the stage winning ride.
Stage 5: Salon-de-Provence to Sisteron
Stage 5 featured the first Category 1 climb of the 2018 Paris-Nice. The 103-mile stage ends with the final sprint on a small slope to make things interesting.
Stage 6: Sisteron to Vence
Rudy Molard (Groupama-FDJ) takes a solo victory on the Mountains of Stage 6. The stage victory was Molard's first World Tour stage victory, and FDJ's second stage victory of the 2018 Paris-Nice.
Stage 7: Nice to Valdeblore La Colmaine
A day for the climbers of the peloton. Wet and cold weather in Southern France made for an interesting day with Sim Yates (Michelton-Scott) taking the attack to earn him the stage win and overall lead.
Stage 8: Nice to Nice
David De La Crus (Team Sky) wins the final stage at Paris-Nice for the second year in a row.
