Shimano’s Class of 2026

For the 2026 season, the majority of UCI WorldTour men’s and women’s squads, as well as key development teams, will be riding Shimano. As a technical sponsor, Shimano collaborates closely with these teams, sharing data to refine firmware and future product development. It also has a solid GC core of Egan Bernal and Carlos Rodríguez, supported by Thymen Arensman and Laurens De Plus for stage races. Their vision extends beyond the current roster, with the Grenadiers Racing Academy set to launch in 2026. This new development team and talent program will serve as a pipeline for raw talent, helping them make the jump from promising prospects to professional racers.

Team Jayco-AlUla & Liv AlUla Jayco

Continuing their Giant and Shimano partnership for 2026, this Australian WorldTeam blends the sprint firepower of Michael Matthews and Pascal Ackermann with the stage-race strength of Ben O’Connor and Luke Plapp. They also have plenty of support depth to deliver consistent points across the calendar.

On the women’s side, Liv AlUla Jayco is ready to attack 2026 with fast finishers Letizia Paternoster and Georgia Baker and all-rounders Silke Smulders and Monica Trinca Colonel.

Lotto‑Intermarché Ladies are stepping up to the UCI Women’s ProTeam level in 2026 following the merger and rebrand. The 2026 roster blends experienced riders like Linda Riedmann and Lea Lin Teutenberg with developing talents Lani Wittevrongel and Ilken Seynave, as well as multi‑sport recruit Sandrine Tas.
