Product Engineer (Procurement Project)

Job Responsibilities

1) Project Management

·       Initiate discussion with related stakeholders on project with SQERT model

·       Lead and drive project team to achieve project deliverables

·       Present project status and review with Procurement Director

·       Identify and resolve risk from capacity, competency or costs as project develops

2) Procurement

·       Work with Product Engineering group to identify cost reduction opportunities

·       Propose and follow thru production revisions to improve yield

·       Select suppliers thru analysis of quotes and terms to maximize benefit for the company

·       Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements

·       Liaise with suppliers to expedite delivery schedule for production

Job Requirements

·       Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

·       Relevant experience preferred in lean manufacturing environment

·       Basic understanding of manufacturing processes i.e. casting, stamping, injection molding, etc.

·       Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

·       Strong in co-ordination and communication skill

·       Able to perform under tight timeline and pressure

·       Willing to travel overseas within short notice

 ·    Candidates without working experience are welcome to apply, on-job-training will be provided

• Working Hour: Mondays to Fridays 8:00am - 5:30pm
