Two derailleurs, one shifter

SYNCHRONIZED SHIFT is a function that automatically selects the most efficient gear on the front derailleur in synchronization with rear derailleur gear shifting.

SEMI-SYNCHRONIZED SHIFT is a function that automatically selects the rear derailleur gear position to obtain the optimal gear step transition when the front derailleur is shifted.

This gives you more control to match the gear combination to your personal riding style.
