Gage Hecht of the Donnelly Cycling Team was named the USA Cycling Men's Elite Cyclocross National Champion over the weekend in Lakewood, Washington. After a third place finish at the 2018 USA Cycling National Championship, Gage came into this year's Nationals ready for redemption. Despite being eligible to race in the Under-23 Division, Gage showed his power and strength beating out a packed Men's Elite Field in what turned out to be a very muddy Championship race.
Congrats to Gage on a great victory and milestone in his young career! Gage will be someone to keep an eye on in both Cyclocross and Road Racing where he is a member of the Aevolo Cycling Team.
