Shimano is excited to announce a new cyclocross partnership with Kona. The Kona Maxxis-Shimano CX Team is made up of Kerry Werner and Rebecca Fahringer.

Kerry heads into the 2018-19 Cyclocross season with a Third place at the CX Nationals in 2017 and 2018. Kerry is an endurance athlete and also a member of the Kona Adventure Team. Most recently, Kerry participated in the BC Bike Race where he earned a 3rd place finish in a deep pool of top XC athletes.

Rebecca Fahringer is another Kona athlete, previously competing in triathlons, who recently made her transition into the Cyclocross world. Beyond her skills on the bike, Rebecca has an impressive educational background with a degree in Geology and Physicals from MIT.

Kerry and Rebecca both ride on the Kona Super Jake equipped with Shimano DURA-ACE Di2 and the new Ultegra RX Di2 clutch rear derailleurs. Both bikes are equipped with PRO Bike Gear cockpit components, seat posts and saddles.

Watch for Kerry and Rebecca as they tackle a full schedule of domestic and international races in the upcoming Cyclocross season.
