Red Bull Rampage is back for the 14th edition, drawing in the best 21 freeriders in the World to the outskirts of Virgin, Utah. Rampage has become freeriding's most iconic event. This year's format starts off with four days dedicated to digging in lines with no bikes allowed on the mountain. Each rider was allowed two dedicated diggers and 75 sandbags to reinforce lips and landings. Teams are not allowed to use any power tools and must dig out their entire line by hand. This year Red Bull provided and ran just about two miles worth of hoses to provide water to the entire course allowing riders to better pack landings and reinforce lips. After the fourth day of digging, riders are finally able to ride their lines and test out their features and make any last-minute adjustments before the event starts on Friday.
