For 2017, Shimano will offer several new updated and totally redesigned product selections to its performance riding apparel, bags/packs and eyewear lines. Across the new product ranges, Shimano continues to utilize its proprietary technologies, materials and fit philosophies in the development process to benefit a variety of performance riders.
New performance eyewear models
Shimano’s eyewear line includes cycling-specific designs that incorporate a variety of unique fit features, lens options and functions to meet the unique needs of a wide range of riders. Shimano will offer seven eyewear models in North America, including three totally new models, the S52R, S51X and S42X, as well as new colors for existing models.
Redesigned new Trail Series, Enduro packs
Shimano Unzen mountain bike trail packs were redesigned for 2017, maintaining Shimano’s easily adjustable, form-fitting Rider Fit X-Harness technology. The popular Enduro Racepack was redesigned along with the Unzen 2,6,10 and 14L Trail packs.
Unzen Trail Series packs range in size from 2L to 14L and are feature packed to carry the load while remaining cool and comfortable in any riding environment. Key features among Trail Series packs include: sculpted air mesh back panels, flexible storage, hydration pack compatibility, hi-viz rain covers and helmet holders. The packs are available in a variety of colors.
New Shimano-branded performance riding apparel
Riders can align themselves with the iconic Japanese cycling brand in affordable new 2017 men’s performance riding apparel consisting of a slim-fit jersey and bib short. Available in four colors, the Print Short Sleeve Jersey utilizes a 100% synthetic moisture-wicking fabric with reflective elements for night time visibility as well as UV protection for the day. Merchandising with the jersey, the Print Bib Shorts utilize three different fabrics to maximize performance along with a breathable 3D chamois.
