For the latest edition of “This is Home”, we go to the Pacific Northwest to visit Jill Kintner, an athlete of Shimano for over 7 years, and one of the most decorated female athletes on two wheels. Her career highlights include a Bronze medal in the 2008 Olympic games in BMX, three consecutive UCI 4X World titles, Downhill World Cup podiums, Crankworx overall titles, and an outstanding 19 elite USA National Championships across 5 disciplines. Jill’s accomplishments are the result of hard work and perseverance, showing full commitment to whatever she puts her mind to.
Jill take us in to show us makes her tick - her husband Bryn Atkinson, also a professional mountain biker and Jill’s main training partner, the art that puts her mind at ease, and the community around her that embraces mountain biking and the trails that exist.
Jill’s modesty, love of community and love of bikes is something anyone can appreciate.
