Tucked into the Italian Alps at 1,450 metres, on the edge of the French border, La Thuile has long been a favorite among Europe’s mountain biking elite. Now, it’s stepping onto the global stage as the newest stop in the 2025 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series—and trail building professional and park manager Enrico Martello from La Thuile Bike World is here to show you how it was built.
What started as a dream has turned into steep, technical descents. Rocky, root-laced singletrack. And above it all, the cinematic backdrops of Valle d’Aosta. It’s a location that demands focus, rewards flow, and reminds us what mountain biking is all about.
