Staying comfortable and in control while cycling in cold temperatures requires balancing the complex interactions between your body, your clothes, and the environment. Strategic placement of seasonally tailored fabric technologies can help keep you comfortable, warm, dry, and visible throughout the coldest months.

Anatomical cuts with lightweight and highly elastic fabrics follow the body’s natural lines to provide performance and protection without restricting movement.

We choose thinner fabrics that can still provide the same level of warmth as thicker options, but feel, stretch, and pack down better.

Durable waterproof treatment (DWR) is applied to almost every AW product to shield riders against light rain and road spray without overheating or washing out.

We apply a variety of reflective elements, including fabric inserts, piping, and heat transferred logos and graphics, to provide stylish visibility from every angle.

SITIP

Blizzard Thermal Comfort by SITIP is a thermal fabric with a soft brushed microfiber backing. It is an easy-to-care-for fabric that provides long life stretch, superior shape retention, breathability, and pilling resistance. Both the standard and GRS certified versions deliver the same excellent performance.
ACQUA ZERO ECO is an environmentally friendly (Fluorine/PFOA-free) hydrophobic water repellency that provides durable performance without impacting breathability.
Native ecoknit by SITIP is a family of GRS certified fabrics, including Native Instinct GZ, made with 50% recycled nylon. These performance fabrics fit, feel, and function as great as nonrecycled options.

ECO by Zero Wind® is a multilayered fabric made from used PET bottles. The recycled plastic is mechanically transformed by a GRS-certified process to create materials with the same properties as standard polyester. The result is more sustainably made cycling gear that breathes and protects you from the elements.

Misurina fabric with Storm Shield technology is a lightweight and highly elastic heat-regulating membrane that effectively blocks wind and water to maintain breathable comfort in harsh conditions. SHIMANO SPLASH SHIELD fabric repels water and stains to reduce the worries of wet weather cycling. It keeps you dryer and cleans up easier than many alternative fabrics, so you can conﬁdently head out without dreading rain or mud. You will ﬁnd SPLASH SHIELD on our DUAL RAIN SHOE COVER, ready to protect feet on and off the asphalt. We also use SPLASH SHIELD as a middle layer in our ET7 shoes to protect the forefoot from splashes without trapping heat.
