Install Pontoons and SPD Cleats

Place the pontoon lugs on the shoe's outsole and install the SPD cleats like normal.

Adjust SPD Cleat

Adjust the position of the SPD cleats to match your preference.

Pair with SPD Pedals

Use with any SPD-compatible pedal, but XTR PD-M9200 or DEORE XT PD-M8100 are recommended for peak performance.

Our pontoon system redefines pedaling stability, with even greater contact area between pedal and shoe.

A pair of pontoons are included with RX910, and replacements can be purchased separately.

The Advantage of Pontoons for Gravel Riding

Traditional sole blocks only make stable contact between the shoe and pedal surface when the cleat is positioned directly in the center. Our Pontoon block system closely hugs the cleat to ensure better stability and contact in any cleat position.
