It was pure cinema. A final push with Tadej Pogačar and Filippo Ganna in Mathieu van der Poel’s wake led to a second victory in the streets of Sanremo for the living legend from Alpecin-Deceuninck. It was a masterclass of control and coordination, of breakaways and beautiful climbs, and Shimano’s photographers were on the scene to capture the excitement!

Viewers were treated to a titanic performance by three titans of the sport—all sponsored by Shimano. For Ganna, it was his second podium finish. The same goes for Pogačar. A special shoutout to the stellar mechanics and drivers from the Neutral Service team, who delivered another WorldTour-worthy performance, fueled by a mix of adrenaline, technical savvy and a sincere love of the sport.

To draw a line from each inspired rider, young and old, to the moment Shozaburo Shimano opened the doors of Shimano Iron Works in Sakai in 1921 is simply extraordinary.
