Facilities Engineer I

Job Responsibilities

·         Lead maintenance and troubleshooting for stamping machines, cold forging equipment, AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles), and ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems).

·         Respond promptly to machine breakdowns, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely recovery to minimize downtime.

·         Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce breakdown frequency and enhance equipment reliability.

·         Diagnose and pinpoint machinery issues accurately using advanced troubleshooting techniques and strong technical know-how.

·         Proactively source and propose projects for process optimization, automation, and productivity improvement.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational KPIs.

 

Job Requirements

·         Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

·         At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of stamping/cold forging machines and automated systems (AGV/ASRS).

·         Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation controls.

·         Ability to work under pressure during breakdowns and willingness to support shift or weekend duties when required.

·         Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, TPM).

- Working Location: Bulim Walk (nearest MRT: Boon Lay)

- Mondays - Fridays: 8:00am to 5:00pm

- Uniform & Lunch provided

- Company transportation at various pickup points (Northern & Western areas of Singapore)
