Two days before the 2017 IRONMAN World Championship Tim Don was hit by a car along the Queen K Highway. Tim suffered a fracture to his neck and spent months recovering in a halo brace. Nine months after the crash, Tim returned to IRONMAN in style, taking the victory at IM 70.3 Costa Rica. Tim returned back to the island ready to compete at the 2018 IRONMAN World Championship just a year after the accident, a true story of determination and courage.
Tim caught up with Team Shimano in Kona for an interview with 3x IRONMAN World Champion Craig Alexander.
