When we invented SPD clipless pedals more than 25 years ago, we faced one small problem: there were no compatible shoes. So we took a good, long look at the human foot, examined how it functioned in cycling applications, and created a high-performance shoe from scratch.
We design, analyze and test cycling footwear that fit our standards and the human foot. And we’ve discovered that a rider’s foot behaves very differently when racing, mountain biking, touring, commuting or walking. In other words, one size (and one last) doesn’t fit everyone.
