Every UCI World Series event, training camp, and every second of every day brought elite athletes from around the world closer to the small Parisian suburb of Élancourt, where history was to be made. Pauline Ferrand-Prévot and Tom Pidcock, friends from the school of INEOS Grenadiers, reigned supreme. With Jenny Rissveds and Alan Hatherly making the podium.

Taiwan is the beating heart of the MTB industry. Have you ever wondered what the MTB scene is like there? We asked Andrew ‘Needles’ Neethling, formerly a force to be reckoned with in the World Cup downhill scene, to find out more. Join Andrew as he travels from Taipei to the southern coast of Taiwan, encountering beautifully maintained trails and pump tracks and uncovering the hidden gems of Taiwan’s MTB scene.
Andrew rode a Scott Genius Tuned, with a Fox Factory 38 fork and equipped with XTR 4-piston trail brakes, XTR derailleur and shifters, and a 10-51 cassette during his adventure through Taiwan. XTR is the pinnacle of MTB technology—the choice of champions in XC and Enduro. Want to learn more?
